    About Me
I grew up in Miami, went to college in Gainesville, and lived in Denver for a few years. While in Denver, I worked in a high school as a college counselor, and now I work as an admissions officer for my alma mater, the University of Florida. In my free time I am an avid reader, have a lovely dog named Tuna, and spend time caring for my multiple plants.

    Favorite Campus Location

My favorite spot on campus is Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, aka The Swamp. It's a fantastic place during football season, a quiet and shady place during the week to study, and a conveniently located gym if you ever want to take on its dreaded stairs (Running Stadiums).

    Favorite UF Fun Fact
One of my favorite places in Gainesville is La Chua Trail. UF RecSports offers a Bike Journey to La Chua that allows you to see wildlife including alligators, water snakes, a huge variety of birds and more!

    Admissions Advice
We don't conduct interviews or read letters of recommendation, so your extracurricular section and your essay are crucial. Don't miss the opportunity to explain your extracurricular activities. If talking about a sport, what position did you play? What did you accomplish in your club? Are there measurable outcomes from your volunteer work? Those are some of the questions you can answer during your extracurricular section. For your essay, remember to make it personable and get those around you who know you best to read it, and offer you feedback.

    For Students
Experience UF by touring our campus (virtually) and by attending a virtual info session led by current students or one of our admissions representatives.
